SATURDAY NIGHT FUNDRAISER!

Launder your money with Red Betty!
A night of celebration in support of The Washing Machine
at the Next Stage Theatre Festival.
Red Betty Theatre presents an evening of live entertainment and fun on Saturday, December 3, in support of the world premiere of Radha Menon’s play The Washing Machine.
The evening will feature musical performances, a silent auction, delicious Indian food and a raffle to win a brand new washing machine. Don’t miss this chance to mingle with the cast and crew of this exciting new show, that is as multi-cultural as it is multi-generational.
In The Washing Machine, Isabelle returns from England to her childhood home in India after the death of her husband and child. She has big plans for this banana plantation: out with the sacred grounds, in with tennis courts and a fancy new washing machine! Isabelle and her lustful brother James clash with their superstitious servants, a neighbouring convent, and the wrath of an Aghori guru as her family’s dark secret is finally exposed.
